Reporter comment USDA

As filed

Compared to the last sale two weeks ago, trade was pretty spotty, with some 6 and 7 weight cattle trading sharply higher, and other weights either side of steady. Slaughter cows 3.00 to 6.00 lower. Quality was pretty uneven and the unweaned calves didn't find a lot of friends this week in light of seasonal temperature swings. Supply moderate, demand mostly moderate, good in spots.
