As filed

First sale of the mid-summer season with the previous auction three weeks ago. Feeder steers and heifers traded with a steady to firm undertone on good demand. The slaughter cow trend was lower compared to three weeks ago. North Missouri has been much luckier with precipitation so far this summer compared to our southern counterparts. Crops and pastures are in pretty good shape, and cattle producers have not needed to liquidate cattle off pastures as has been happening to the South. Supply was moderate.
