Reporter comment USDA

As filed

Compared to the last sale two weeks ago, steers sold 5.00 to 8.00 higher, spots up to 12.00 higher. Heifers 2.00 to 5.00 higher, few 500-600 lb heifers 10.00 higher. Slaughter cows steady. A handful of load or multi-load consignments highlighted the day with good to very good demand throughout the sale. Slow, steady rains the past couple weeks have filled the ponds but made for really muddy lots and side roads. Supply heavy.
