As filed

Compared to last week, steers and heifers sold 3.00 to 7.00 higher. Slaughter cows 3.00 to 5.00 higher. More mud than grass on hand currently but grass fever has certainly struck with anything suitable for a grazing program seeing a solid advance this week. Heavier cattle sure weren't left out of the higher market, as some 700-800 lb cattle traded double digits higher. Fed cattle finally made a move Wednesday, trading from 115.00-116.00 live, adding to a more optimistic tone here at the local barn. Supply moderate, demand good.
