Reporter comment USDA

As filed

Compared to last week, steers sold mostly 1.00 to 5.00 lower after last week's sharp upswing. Heifers were uneven, mostly 2.00 to 3.00 higher with the exception of some 575-675 lb heifers selling steady to 2.00 lower. Slaughter cows steady to 3.00 lower. Overall quality was not as attractive this week which contributed to the lower trend, but a few big strings of top quality yearlings highlighted the sale. Supply moderate.
