A large crowd was on hand for this Special Cow Sale at New Cambria Livestock. Several groups of cow/calf pairs and heifer pairs were on offer with very even groups of calves by side that had little trouble finding new homes. Quite a few active bidders were ringside and the stock was scattered across a number of buyers. There is some optimism left in the cattle industry even given the current supply chain issues and what is being described as a meat shortage but what is in truth a processing issue. The total receipts include 398 slaughter cows. Supply heavy and demand moderate to good.
