Compared to last week, steer and heifer calves sold steady to 5.00 lower and several loads of yearling steers sold with a weak to lower undertone with no recent comparison for an accurate trend. Demand was moderate for a moderate supply with several negative factors working against the feeder cattle market. The weather has been difficult on the health of the calves and rain is expected the next couple days and a lower cash fed cattle market and board was working against the yearlings. Slaughter cows and bulls sold steady.
