Reporter comment USDA

As filed

Compared to last week, steers and heifers sold mostly steady. Demand was good for a light supply that included a few consignments of quality calves and a load of yearling heifers. Feeder cattle futures were sharply lower Thursday and have been volatile this week. Slaughter cows sold 2.00-5.00 lower.
