Compared to last week, steer and heifer calves under 550 lbs sold 10.00-25.00 higher and those over 550 lbs sold with a higher undertone to light comparisons from last week. Demand was good for a moderate supply with a couple different consignments of yearlings highlighting the sale along with several groups of calves. The early planted corn is up and going and a rain shower Thursday morning provided some needed moisture. Slaughter cows sold steady to 5.00 higher.
