Heifer calves under 600 lbs which is the vast majority of what was on hand sold 5.00-10.00 higher. Demand was good for a moderate to heavy supply. From the start, buyers were aggressive and mostly shook off the lower futures market from Wednesday with several reputation strings of cattle on hand. Mainly calves were offered which weren't as negatively affected by the recent bearishenss. Slaughter cows sold steady to 4.00 lower.
