Reporter comment USDA

As filed

Compared to last week, steers sold with a firm to higher undertone but the better tested weights this week had too few comparable sales for an accurate trend. Heifers sold steady. Demand was good for a light supply. A large group of quality home-raised steers highlighted the sale and sold with very good demand. Slaughter cows and bulls sold steady to firm.
