Compared to last week, steers sold mostly 5.00 to 14.00 higher with spots up to 20.00 higher. The best test of 450lb-600lb heifers sold 20.00 higher, and heavier weights sold with a firm undertone. Slaughter cows sold unevenly from 2.00 higher to 3.00 lower, and slaughter bulls were steady to 3.00 higher. Demand was very good for the high quality, weaned calves and yearlings on offer today, and good for cow classes on a moderate to light supply.
