Compared to the last special two weeks ago, a much larger offering this week than two weeks ago especially on calves with few good comparisons on feeders, the best test was on a pot load of 741 lb heifers trading fully steady with last auction. Steer and heifer calves and feeder steers and heifers weighing 600-700 lbs all sold with a firm to higher undertone. Demand was very good on a moderate offering with several stick out sales included 40 hd of thin steers weighing 661 lbs at 415.00; 48 hd of thin heifers weighing 611 lbs at 401.00; 76 heifers weighing 697 lbs at 362.00; 74 heifers weighing 741 lbs at 348.00 and 146 heifers weighing 756 lbs at 342.00.
