Compared to the last special two weeks ago, steer calves weighing 500-550 lbs sold with a lower undertone as overall quality and condition was not as attractive, with 550-700 lb steers and a pot load of 913 lb steers all sold steady to firm. Heifer calves weighing 400-450 lbs sold steady to firm with 450-500 lb heifer calves selling 10.00-15.00 higher, 5 weight heifers sold steady to spots 10.00 higher with two pot loads of 722 lb heifers sold near steady on similar weights. Demand was good on a moderate supply. Several stick out sales included 67 steers weighing 913 lbs at 352.00 and 156 hd of heifers averaging 722 lbs at 378.85. Slaughter cows sold steady to firm on a light test.
