Demand was good on a moderate supply. Despite CME cattle futures having a major sell-off with Live Cattle contracts from April thru December all closing 3.10 to 3.55 lower and Feeder Cattle contracts had April thru August down hard from 5.00-5.37 the market held up very well. Several stick-out sales included 34 hd of steers weighing 698 lbs at 288.50, 33 hd of steers weighing 736 lbs at 282.00, 41 hd of fancy blk heifers weighing 600 lbs at 288.00 and pot load of 668 lb heifers at 256.25. Slaughter cows on a light test sold firm to 5.00 higher.
