Compared to the last special two weeks ago, a light test of 400-500 lb steer calves sold steady to firm, with 500-700 lb steers selling mostly 5.00-10.00 higher. Feeder heifers weighing 450-500 lbs sold 5.00-10.00 higher, with 5 weight heifers selling with a higher undertone on two weeks ago limited offering, and a large offering of 6 weight heifers sold firm to 7.00 higher. Demand was good on a moderate offering with the main attraction being 5 pot loads of good quality 6 weight heifers with good weighing conditions and a pot load of good quality 940 lb heifers all sold on and active market. Slaughter cows sold steady to firm.
