Compared to the last auction two weeks ago, 400-500 lb steers calves sold with a sharply higher undertone with few comparisons from the last sale, 500-650 lbs sold 10.00-15.00 higher with 650-700 lbs trading 6.00-8.00 higher and 700-800 lb steers selling with a higher undertone on few comparisons. Feeder heifers weighing 400-500 lbs sold 15.00-20.00 higher spots as much as 25.00 higher, 500-700 lbs sold 7.00-10.00 higher spots 15.00 higher on the 500-550 lb heifers. Demand was very good on a moderate supply. Quality was very good on calves weighing 400-650 lbs with a nice offering of yearling steers weighing 650-800 lbs. Slaughter cows sold mostly 4.00-6.00 higher than two weeks ago.
