Compared to last week, light test of 450-500 lb steer calves sold with a higher undertone, with 500-600 lb steers selling firm to 5.00 higher, 600-700 lbs sold 5.00-10.00 lower, spots 12.00 lower, with 700-750 lbs trading 3.00-5.00 lower. Feeder heifers weighing 400-500 lbs were lightly tested with 500-600 lbs selling steady and 600-700 lbs trading steady to 3.00 lower. Slaughter cows were lightly tested on a very light offering. Demand was moderate to good on a moderate offering, best demand was on a good quality offering of 450--600 lb steers calves. Feeder cattle contracts for March are down 1.40 with April down 1.10 following Monday's lower closing after last week's COF report was bearish for Replacements at 106 percent.
