As filed

Compared to the last sale two weeks ago, steers and heifers sold mostly 2.00 to 6.00 higher. Slaughter cows 4.00 to 6.00 higher. A few weak spots were evident on cattle weighing 600 to 750 lbs with some of this week's top prices not quite reaching those of two weeks ago. There's still a lot of interest in the limited number of grazing cattle available as the area has received more than adequate moisture in recent weeks. This week looks to be the first hot stretch of the summer with many locals turning their attention to replants and mowing some hay. Supply moderate, demand moderate to good.
