Compared to last week, feeder steers weighing 400-750 lbs sold mostly 3.00-5.00 higher, with feeder heifers weighing 450-700 lbs trading firm to 5.00 higher with the most advance on the 450-500 lb and 550-600 lb heifers. Slaughter cows on a light test sold steady to firm. Demand was good on a nice offering of top quality calves weaned and unweaned selling on a very active market.
