Reporter comment USDA

As filed

Compared to last week, steers sold steady to firm and heifers sold steady to 10.00 higher with the gain on the 550-625 lb weight range. Demand was good for a light supply with a few loads of yearlings offered along with some weaned calves. Summer is here and many folks are in the hay field with the calves already marketed. Slaughter cows steady to 4.00 lower.
