Compared to last week's light test, steers and heifers sold mostly steady except for the yearling steers over 750 lbs that sold mostly 10.00 lower. Demand was moderate to good for a moderate supply of mostly yearlings and long weaned cattle, however there are some calves starting to show up. Cattle futures ended the day sharply lower with most feeder contracts limit down. Slaughter cows sold steady to 3.00 lower.
