Compared to last week's sale on Friday, steers under 750 lbs sold another 5.00-10.00 higher while the heavier steers sold steady to 5.00 higher. Heifers sold steady to 5.00 higher except for some 550-675 lb heifers selling up to 10.00 higher. Demand was very good for a heavy supply of attractive cattle. So far this year, cattle seem to be worth more with each passing day as this historical market has continued to move higher. For the cow-calf producer, it's been nearly ten years in the making with plenty of struggles along the way to make it to a market as rewarding as this.
