Compared to last week, the majority of steers sold steady to 2.00 higher except for a much larger offering of 600-700 lb steers that sold 5.00-7.00 higher. There weren't as many calves this week to push prices to some of last week's highs on the lighter weights but they still saw good demand. Heifers mostly followed along the same trend selling steady to firm in spots except for 3 loads of thin fleshed heifers weighing 590 lbs trading with a higher undertone. Demand was good for a moderate supply that featured over 10 loads of yearlings. Slaughter cows and bulls sold mostly steady.
