Compared to last week, steers sold steady to 3.00 lower. Heifers sold mostly steady. Demand was good for yearlings and the higher quality calves, moderate for the remainder. Supply was moderate. The bullish grain markets recently have been pressuring feeder cattle which saw nearby contracts around 2.00 lower Tuesday. Slaughter cows sold 3.00-7.00 lower.
