Compared to last week, steer calves weighing 400-450 lbs on a light test sold with a higher undertone, 450-550 lbs sold mostly 5.00-7.00 higher, 550-600 lbs were lightly tested, 600-700 lbs sold firm to 2.00 higher, and a light offering of yearling steers over 700 lbs sold with a firm to higher undertone. Feeder heifers weighing under 450 lbs sold with a firm to higher undertone with 450-550 lbs selling steady to 3.00 lower, 550-600 lbs sold steady to spots 3.00 higher, 600-650 lbs were lightly tested with last week's larger offering and a light test of yearling heifers over 650 lbs sold with a higher undertone. A good offering of light weight calves under 500 lbs and calves weighing 500-650 lbs all sold with good demand with good quality and good weighing conditions. A much lighter offering this week of yearling feeders also sold with good demand. Lots of groups and part loads in the offering this week of all weights sold on and active market. Slaughter cows sold steady to firm.
