Reporter comment USDA

As filed

Compared to last Wednesday, breaking and boning slaughter cows sold steady while lean slaughter cows sold 1.00-2.00 higher and slaughter bulls sold 2.00-3.00 higher. The offering included a moderate supply of bred cows and a light supply of cow/calf pairs. Some good drying weather the last few days is keeping many producers in the field putting up hay. Supply was light and demand good for slaughter classes.
