Cattle futures were finally lower on Tuesday although traders have been bullish lately apparently feeling a need to further ration cattle in anticipation of spring grilling demand with the sharply higher board pulling the fed cattle trade a whopping 10.00/cwt higher last week. Cutout values still tell a different story though with prices moving lower and the choice cutout currently an unheard of 3.59 discount to select. Slaughter cows sold 2.00-4.00 higher.
