Compared to last Tuesday, feeder steers and heifers 4.00-8.00 higher on a limited market test. Slaughter cows steady. Supply light. Demand good. Similar feeder offering to last week with several unweaned calves but more quality on the top end. Cattle futures have stabilized and rebounded somewhat from their recent huge selloff. Strength in the fed cattle market has helped stop the slide with the feedlot trade expected to be steady to higher this week although cutout values did lose quite a bit of ground Tuesday.
