Compared to last Tuesday, feeder steers under 550 lbs 5.00-15.00 higher, over 550 lbs steady to 5.00 higher. Feeder heifers under 550 lbs 10.00-20.00 higher, over 550 lbs steady to 3.00 higher. Slaughter cows steady. Demand good to very good. Supply moderate. Several good quality consignments of light cattle and improved buyer participation made for a much stronger calf trade this week. Fed cattle are expected to trade higher with outside markets less volatile in recent days and cattle futures making large advances on Monday.
