As filed

Compared to last Tuesday, a few steers 500-600 lbs 5.00-10.00 higher with other weights not well tested. A light test of heifers 400-600 lbs 3.00-6.00 higher. Slaughter cows 2.00-3.00 higher. Supply light with the heat index at 100+ degrees. Fed cattle prices surged over 3.00/cwt last week despite earlier predictions of a potential June decline. Further momentum was gained from sharply lower corn on Tuesday which pushed feeder contracts around 240 points higher.
