Compared to last Tuesday, feeder steers steady to 2.00 lower. Feeder heifers steady to 4.00 lower. Slaughter cows 2.00-4.00 higher. Demand moderate. Supply moderate. Large cow receipts again this week including two dispersions with some nice bred cows and pairs. The cattle market continues to be in a sideways down trend with fed cattle softening, the latest feeder index lower and feeder futures still working lower. On the bright side, cutout values are showing a bit of strength despite fairly aggressive harvest numbers.
