Compared to last Tuesday, feeder steers steady to 3.00 higher. Feeder heifers under 500 lbs 2.00-4.00 lower, over 500 lbs steady. Slaughter cows 1.00-3.00 lower. Demand good. Supply moderate. Good pre-holiday run with several nice cattle on hand. There is a growing disparity between fats and cash feeders with the fed market looking a little like Jack and Rose on the Titanic, take a deep breath and start kicking toward the surface, while the feeder market continues with business as usual. And nobody knows how far it is to the surface ( current fed marketings).
