Reporter comment USDA

As filed

Compared to last Tuesday, feeder steers and heifers under 600 lbs steady to 2.00 lower, over 600 lbs 3.00-5.00 lower. Slaughter cows 3.00-5.00 higher. Demand moderate. Supply light. It is anyone's guess as to where the cattle market is headed at the moment as signs of good beef demand and elevated early year kill levels currently take a back seat while the industry tries to assess the short and intermediate impact of the Chinese coronavirus.
