Compared to last Tuesday, steers and heifers under 650 lbs 8.00-12.00 higher with greatest advance on heifers near 550 lbs. Steers and heifers over 650 lbs 3.00-5.00 higher. Slaughter cows steady to 2.00 higher. Demand very good. Supply moderate. December corn gained 12 cents after USDA trimmed the projected 2019 crop by one billion bushels but feeder buyers seemed more focused on the improved trade situation with Mexico and maybe prospects for a higher fed trade this week.
