Reporter comment USDA

As filed

Compared to the last sale two weeks ago, steers sold mostly 5.00 to 10.00 higher with a few weights of steers and all the heifers sharply higher. Slaughter cows 3.00 to 5.00 higher. Really attractive quality on hand for the Annual April Grass Special with most consignments long time weaned with all the work done and in good grazing condition. The beef sector as a whole continues to be all go and no whoa with futures in the green Wednesday, positive choice cutout performance and a cash market on fire. Supply moderate, demand very good.
