Compared to the last sale two weeks ago, steers under 650 lbs 5.00 to 10.00 higher, heavier weight steers and all weights of heifers steady to 5.00 higher. Slaughter cows steady on a heavy supply. Mostly fall calves on offer this week, a fairly even mix of weaned and unweaned consignments but most of the cattle did have two rounds of shots. Producers continue to pull cattle forward as grass has been very slow to come on yet this spring. Demand was good until late in the day when buyers were square but plenty of cattle remained. Supply heavy.
