Compared to last week, feeder steers and heifers sold mostly steady, Slaughter cows and bulls sold 1.00 to 3.00 lower. Supply was still on the light side but buyers showed up with good demand. The area is still going through the usual summer heat waves and producers are not moving many cattle at the moment. Several replacement cows and pairs were also on hand today in the afternoon cow sale.
