Compared to last weeks sale, feeder steers sold steady to 8.00 higher, feeder heifers sold uneven from 5.00 lower to 12.00 higher but there was a light to moderate supply under 600 lbs. Overall the market was very active with good demand for all classes of feeders. The slaughter cows sold 3.00 to 6.00 higher on the good flesh cows, leaner cows sold mostly steady with slaughter bulls selling steady also, on a lighter supply. The offering of replacement cows was moderate with good demand. Summer time temps has set in for the week with dryer days to help farmers and ranchers get back in the fields.
