Compared to last week, feeder steers and heifers sold 2.00 to 5.00 lower on a light test. The supply of feeders was light and made up of many smaller lots or singles, much different than last week's pre-vac sale which had larger lots with paper work and overall better quality. This week's offering did hold some weaned cattle, some that had a round or two of shots, and even several that seen a knife; but it seemed very few groups manged to put all those parts together into a single package which is required if sellers wish to fill those top dollar orders. A light supply of slaughter cows sold steady to 2.00 lower and slaughter bulls sold steady.
