Looking back to the last feeder auction three weeks ago, calves sold with a lower undertone with not enough yearlings for a comparison. A load of 863 lb steers sold for 352.00 which would be near the prices from a month ago. The offering consisted of a lot of smaller packages as producers cleaned out some pens as we head into summer. Most of the crops are in the ground and pastures are in good shape, with cattlemen waiting for a dry stretch of weather to work on the hay.
