Reporter comment USDA

As filed

Compared to the last tested auction from two weeks ago, feeder steers and heifers mostly 20.00-40.00 lower with instances as much as 60.00 lower on calves. and yearling heifers 10.00-20.00 lower. The sharp downturn in the feeder market reflects what has been going on nation wide as the fed cattle prices and the beef future markets have fallen dramatically the past few weeks from their yearlong climb to record highs. Demand moderate to good and supply light.
