Reporter comment USDA

As filed

Compared to the auction from two weeks ago, steer calves 500-700 lbs sold with a higher undertone, with light weight steers under 500 lbs selling sharply higher. Not enough good comparisons with last time on steers over 700 lbs or on the feeder heifer side to establish a trend. Feeder prices continue to trade near record highs as demand for cattle is very good on a light to moderate supply.
