Reporter comment USDA

As filed

Compared to the feeder auction from two weeks ago, steer calves under 650 lbs steady, with yearling steers over 650 lbs 5.00-10.00 higher with instances 15.00 higher. Feeder heifers traded firm to 10.00 higher. Quality was attractive. A lighter offering this week, but that seemed to only increase demand as buyers competed to gather up the remaining cattle of the spring supply. Demand was very good.
