Compared to the last tested auction from two weeks ago, feeder steers and heifers sold firm to 10.00 higher. Another extremely good market for producers to sell into. The local area continues to be in the worst drought in decades. Hay crop was a disaster and now the corn crop is lost. Beef producers can get some salvage value out of silage if they are equipped to harvest and feed.
