Feeder heifers under 600 lbs steady to 5.00 higher, over 600 lbs steady. A typical spring sale with the lighter weight calves that will fit a grazing program finding a broad outlet and trading with mostly higher prices, while the buyers of the feedlot bound yearlings are much more cautious as they try to pencil out a break even using the currently high feed cost.
