Compared to the last tested auction from two weeks ago, feeder steers and heifers traded steady. Many smaller consignments in the offering with the market active for most weights. Two weeks of dry weather has put the pastures and crops under some stress for the first time this year, and the forecasted 90 plus degree temperatures for the rest of this week will not help. Demand was good and supply moderate.
