Reporter comment USDA

As filed

Compared to last week, feeder steers and heifers steady to 3.00 lower. A good mix of both calves and yearlings with the larger strings of yearlings holding up rather well and trading near steady with last week. The flu like virus spreading through China getting the blame for the spooked markets as the cattle futures in Chicago traded sharply lower to limit down with investors aggressively selling most ag commodities.
