Compared to the feeder auction from two weeks ago, top end feeder steers and steer calves traded steady with heifers under 700 lbs steady to 2.00 lower. A pot load of 776 lb yearling heifers sold at least 5.00 higher. A lower undertone was noted on lower grade cattle with some severe discounts for fleshy and unweaned calves, especially those without shots and sold in small packages.
