Compared to the last special two weeks ago, steer calves under 700 lbs and heifer calves under 600 lbs sold mostly 5.00-12.00 lower, with steers over 700 lbs not well tested and heifers weighing 600-800 lbs trading steady to firm. Overall demand was good on a moderate offering the overall quality did not run as deep as the last special but the market held up very well, despite market volatility this week as markets have whipsawed back and forth due to trade and tariff issues. Slaughter steers and heifers sold mostly 5.00 lower with slaughter cows trading firm to 3.00 higher.
